Creative destruction has long been known as an essential fact about Capitalism.  Entrepreneurs innovate; improving life locally and globally, ultimately lifting billions from poverty. But innovation necessitates change; pushing aside the old in favor of the new; and oftentimes destroying lower skill jobs, industries and sometimes entire communities.

Too often, at least in the media, profit is solely linked to the destructive side of capitalism. For too long, too-many “conscious capitalists” have felt anxiety about how profit is earned, and how it is used.

Profit is NOT a 4-letter Word offers a deeper understanding about profit as the measure of the value good businesses create for customers AND society; and as the fuel that drives innovation and elevates humanity.
